Eline Shop Technician

Boreal Eline, a division of Bonnett’s Energy Corp. is looking for a committed, high performing individual to join our growing Grande Prairie Pumpdown Eline team in the position of Eline - Shop Technician.

As the Shop Technician, you will be responsible for general facility up-keep, maintenance and organization of equipment, vehicles, and materials.  First call for hotshot deliveries. Schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Overtime/weekend work as required.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

* Service, maintain and track wireline release tools

* Service, maintain and track wireline swivel tools
* Ordering and stocking of field supplies
* Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies
* Assist with loading and unloading equipment and tools for jobs going out/returning from the field

* General housekeeping of the facility
* Other general labor duties as required

Reports to on/call manager

The successful candidate will have:


* Grade 12 or GED
* Knowledge of wellhead flanges and wireline equipment

* Forklift experience

* Loader experience

* Experience with oilfield driving and 1Ton & trailer driving

* Knowledge of log book requirements
* Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time
* Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and customer service


Valid safety tickets: (H2S, Forklift, First aid, WHIMIS, TDG, etc.)

* Clean driver’s abstract

* Class 5 or 3 driver’s license
* Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
* Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision

* Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills

Maintenance Supervisor

Bonnett’s Energy Corp. is in search of a Maintenance Supervisor, to manage its maintenance requirements on its heavy equipment fleet in Grande Prairie, AB.

The Maintenance Supervisor will direct the maintenance workforce and provide guidance and expertise to ensure tasks are completed to Heavy Equipment fleet to the standards of quality, safety and efficiency required.   As well, as provide guidance to our Maintenance Administrator regarding supply chain, financial records, cost coding and reporting.

The Maintenance Supervisor role will:

  • Work 8-hour per day, on a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule (overtime as required);Adhere to, promote, and enforce all company, contractual, legislated and client safety initiatives;
  • Supervise all maintenance and repairs of our heavy equipment fleet to ensure they are completed efficiently, cost effectively and to our legislative requirements;
  • Delegate repairs and maintenance according to priorities;
  • Manage, motivate, develop, and provide direct leadership, mentorship, and coaching to mechanics;
  • Manage work orders, financial requirements, and cost coding’s through our Online Maintenance Management software.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician with a minimum of 2 years at a Lead Hand level;
  • Experience with all diesel engine types- CAT, Cummins, etc.  Hydraulic maintenance and repair. Etc.;
  • Class 1 or 3 driver’s license preferred;
  • Superior organizational and leadership skills to successfully mentor and guide your team in a healthy, positive, and safe working environment;
  • Experience working with budgets;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and champion a strong safety culture;
  • Strong ethics and compliance to rules and regulations;
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products;
  • Self-motivated with a powerful positive drive to go the extra mile to achieve the desired results and commitment to maintain strong process control and behavioral discipline;
  • Proactive, able to think on your feet and have exceptional problem-solving skills.

Our Pumping Services division operates a full group of stimulation services covering northeastern British Columbia and northern Alberta. We combine our superior technology with the most skilled and experienced personnel in the industry to provide the highest levels of stimulation services demanded by the industry.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates with Fluid pumping or Nitrogen experience, must have a valid class 1 drivers’ license, clean driver’s abstract and current certificates for H2S and First Aid. Pre-employment testing is in effect for these positions.

Schedule consists of 15 days on and 6 days off. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required for the Supervisor positions.
