HSE Administrative Co-ordinator

Bonnett's Energy Corp. is currently seeking an experienced HSE Administrative Coordinator to work out of our Grande Prairie office. The successful applicant will be required to oversee administrative functions of the HSE Department for all of our bases throughout Alberta and British Columbia. The successful applicant will report directly to the HSE Manager and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinating potential new employee pre-employment testing.
  • Coordinating all employee training & new hire orientations.
  • Uploading files to various servers (Complyworks, ISNetworld).
  • Maintaining physical copies of employee training files.
  • Administering Bonnett’s own “Learning Management System”.
  • Administering various client and industry online training systems.
  • Maintaining physical copies of various internal monthly HSE reporting requirements (e.g. safety meetings, facility inspections, work permits, pre-job hazard assessments).
  • Reviewing and editing safety related documents in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assisting with creating monthly safety meeting presentations
  • Assisting the fleet manager on an “as needed” basis.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1yr HSE Administrative experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry, valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable abstract, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team player, ability to public speak, the ability to work under minimal supervision, passion for the people and promoting a safe work culture, commitment and diligence. Experience with ISNetworld, Complyworks and Microsoft Office would be an asset.
