HSE Administrative Co-ordinator

Bonnett's Energy Corp. is currently seeking an experienced HSE Administrative Co-ordinator to work out of our Grande Prairie office. The successful applicant will be required to oversee administrative functions of the HSE Department for all of our bases throughout Alberta and British Columbia. The successful applicant will report directly to the HSE Manager and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinating potential new employee pre-employment testing
  • Coordinating all employee training & new hire orientations
  • Assisting with the upkeeping of various supplier/contractor compliance management systems (i.e., ComplyWorks & ISNetworld)
  • Provide HSE support, advice and direction for managers and employees
  • Promote the Bonnett’s Energy Corp Safety Management Program to all workers
  • Accountable for the interpretation and communication of the Provincial and Federal OHS legislation as required
  • Administering Bonnett’s “Learning Management System”
  • Administering various client and industry online training systems
  • Maintaining physical copies of various internal monthly HSE reporting requirements (e.g., safety meetings, facility inspections, work permits, pre-job hazard assessments, employee training certificates)
  • Reviewing and editing safety related documents in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assisting with creating and hosting monthly safety meeting presentations
  • Assisting with administering and tracking Commercial Driver’s Electronic Logbooks
  • Assisting the fleet manager on an “as needed” basis (primarily filing)

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1yr HSE Administrative experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry, valid class 5 driver’s license, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team player, ability to public speak, the ability to work under minimal supervision, passion for the people and promoting a safe work culture, commitment, and diligence. Prior experience working with ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, Electronic Driver Daily Log Books and Microsoft Office is preferred.
